In a moment of paparazzi fun, the co-chair of the exclusive Author’s Night, Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria were featured on Extra speaking about the benefit for East Hampton library, while holding one of our very own soon-to-be-released “Pansy in New York.” It was a wonderful moment to see the sleuthing pup in the spotlight.
A star-studded list of authors headlined the East Hampton Library benefit on Saturday, August 13 including Christie Brinkley, Bridget Moynahan, Louis Begley, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, and Pansy the Poodle’s own Cynthia Bardes – all whom signed copies of their books at Authors Night. In her third appearance at the event, Bardes and Pansy enjoyed newfound friends while showcasing and signing the series’ fourth adventure, the soon-to-be released “Pansy in New York.” The children’s book proved a hit, selling out on both days and seeing children all over East Hampton affixed with the precious pooch’s signature stickers.
Author’s Night was co-founded in 2005 by actor Alec Baldwin, also serving as co-chair of the event, and has grown to be the premier literary event of the Hamptons with 100 authors and more than 1,000 people in attendance. The accompanying Children’s Fair provides an entertaining day for families to discover new literary heroes while also raising funds for the East Hampton library.
