Pansy the Poodle and author Cynthia Bardes will be making their third showing at the prestigious and exclusive Author’s Night event this August 13. The gathering of authors benefits East Hampton Library and is co-chaired by Alec Baldwin.
The star-studded event features literary notables and celebrities alike, including Christie Brinkley, Louis Begley, Dr. Ruth and Bridget Moynahan – all whom sign copies of their books and preview their work. This year, Bardes will feature her newest addition to the nystery series, Pansy in New York: They Mystery of the Missing Monkey at both the Author’s Night festivities and the following day’s Children’s Fair.
Author’s Night was co-founded in 2005 by actor Alec Baldwin, also serving as co-chair of the event, and has grown to be the premier literary event of the Hamptons with 100 authors and more than 1,000 people in attendance. The accompanying Children’s Fair provides an entertaining day for families to discover new literary heroes while also raising funds for the East Hampton library.
